Jump In Fidalgo! is a group of community volunteers working together to support, promote, and sustain the Fidalgo Pool & Fitness Center. For more than 50 years, this community facility has served generations of Fidalgo Island residents, providing opportunities for recreation, fitness, swim instruction, therapy, and connection.  

 

Since opening in 1975, the pool and fitness center has become an essential community resource. Today, however, the facility is showing its age and requires significant care to remain safe, functional, and accessible. Preserving and improving this vital asset is important for the health, well-being, and quality of life of current and future residents

 

Recent failed ballot measures sought to address the facility’s financial and operational needs, as well as necessary long-term improvements. Questions remain about the recent ballot measures, and the community deserves a clear understanding of both the issues and the choices ahead. We plan to provide that information.
